Massey's/Lane & Associates/Lafayette Fire & Safety

Whether this team was playing as Massey's or Lane & Associates or the Lafayette Fire Softball Team, their opponents knew they were in for a tough battle when they stepped onto the field.
In the 20 years that this team played together, Massey's competed in more than two-thousand games and won 84 percent of them. Between 1983 and 2003, Massey's amassed 43 state championships, 14 regional titles, and one world championship.
1988 was a banner year for Massey's. The squad played in 25 different tournaments, winning 23 of them.
In all, Massey's won exactly half of the tournaments in which they played during the team's existence, taking home 153 different championships.
